Fentrade’s recent new factory and showrooming unveiling of their relocated premises proved to be a major hit with all visitors, made all the more successful by the presentation of their ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System accreditation on the day!
The relocation took place at the end of May and during the short months before and after the move the team at Fentrade had been working hard to remodel an old building with an outdated exterior and interior. Turning the building into a modern, light and airy workspace now provides the team with the capacity and the efficiency to drive forward their ambitious growth strategy. The Open Day saw the culmination of their efforts to showcase the new factory and showroom facilities to the trade.
Chris Reeks, Fentrade’s Managing Director, was thrilled with the impression the Open Day event had had on all the visitors. “it was fantastic to see so many people on the day and to be able to showcase the building, the machinery and the staff underlining how far we’ve come as a business since 2018. It was great to have the support from our key industry suppliers such as Aluk, Jack Aluminium, Schueco and Coastal and a pleasure to meet existing and potential customers and demonstrate our commitment in our business for the future.”
Visitors were able to tour the new premises, chatting with staff from the office and on the factory floor, and view the latest investment by Fentrade, the Elumatec SBZ145 cutting and machining centre, working through its’ various routines. The new showroom setup also drew praise from customers, who will be able to take advantage of the facility by inviting their respective customers along to view the products before making their buying decisions.
The day also marked a significant milestone for Fentrade with the presentation of the Company’s ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System accreditation certificate. The management team had been working tirelessly during the whole relocation operation to write and implement the procedures for the ISO system, aimed at further improving the quality of the product and service through processing to manufacture. With a successful audit being attained it was a fitting testament to the whole team to be presented with the certificate during the Open Day.
Established in 2018, Fentrade Limited manufactures and supplies high-quality aluminium frames for trade, retail and commercial installers and contractors. Products are delivered across Wales, the West Country, the Midlands and the North and produced from industry-leading systems such as Aluk, Jack Aluminium and Scheuco.
